COP29 Climate Walk and Zine-Making Workshops
For STCA’s COP29 Festival, we ran two events that were climate-themed without the jargon. Both were rooted in creative prompts and honest conversation. No expertise was required - just lived experience and a willingness to show up.

Reframed climate action dialogue as a local, emotional and creative conversation.

Led a walkshop for people, including a local Camden Green Men’s Group, that linked climate themes to personal stories.

Facilitated a zine workshop that welcomed local residents, people working nearby and first-time makers.
Impact
Participants shared memories of parks lost and trees planted. Young adults made zines that mixed hope with humour. And somewhere in between, climate care became personal and possible. We also raised awareness about pathways, signposting and support offered by STCA to local people.
Curiosity in Action
Hands-on making and movement help ground big themes, like climate change, in everyday lives.
