When We Embrace Life’s Difficulties
Siun Prochazka on hugs and deep connection.
Alive 03: Embrace
This word conjures up two different images in my mind. The first is of sharing a moment of deep connection with someone, be it a family member, a friend or a lover. The second image is of taking the opportunity to fully live into the choices I have made in life and accepting the circumstances that are more challenging to change.
I find that when I embrace the difficulties, they become smaller and I experience a personal shift in my own consciousness. This leads to a feeling of acceptance, an insight of clarity and an ability to embrace my life on a deeper level.
Siun Prochazka is from Ireland and lives in Prague, Czech Republic with her young son. She is driven by the desire to live her life as fully as possible and to form meaningful connections with others. She is getting better at embracing the opportunities that life may present. In her spare time, you can find her playing chase in the park with her son, organising meet ups where people can talk openly about what’s in their heart. You may also find her wandering around the streets of the beautiful city of Prague with her ‘Free Hugs’ sign.
