About Us

Urban Curiosity is a media and education company in south-east London. We design uplifting creative training programmes and mindful walks for charity professionals and community groups.

Making a positive impact on the world doesn’t have to come at the expense of mental health or wellbeing. Our creative training programmes help charity professionals gain energy, focus and resilience for the projects that matter most (and the challenges ahead).

Community-building, creative health and social prescribing is core to our work. We create engaging workshops and walks that boost creativity and minimise isolation.

We provide open enrolment for individuals and custom programmes for clients in the charity and VCSE sectors, libraries, universities, ICIs and CSR/ESG teams at mission-driven companies. Get in touch with us and let’s start a conversation!

OUR ETHOS

Mindful walking boosts creative wellbeing. And words have power - use yours!

Less burnout + more fun = better impact. Humane productivity is the starting point.

City life is fast. Curiosity is the antidote. It encourages empathy and builds connections.

Writer | Creative Facilitator | Londoner

I am the creator of the Urban Curiosity Walkshop. I design uplifting creative training workshops for charity professionals. I write articles and newsletters about creativity, digital mindfulness and human connection. My work and ideas have been published by or featured in publications like Stylist, Balance and Women’s Health, Vanity Fair and Psychologies.

I am the Director of Engagement at Plot 9 Maze Hill, a magical therapeutic community garden and gathering space in Greenwich, where I also co-host a monthly community event.

For more than 15 years I held management positions in executive education, organisational behaviour and philanthropic partnerships at nonprofits, London Business School, the LSE and the London Symphony Orchestra. The problem was my creativity had melted into a puddle at the bottom of the career ladder.

Burnout, back surgery and bereavement forced me to find a different way to work and live. This I know: time, energy and attention are our most precious resources.
